A family unfolding the 23-foot timeline across the living-room floor

Why it never stuck

History was taught one event at a time. That's why it never connected.

Textbooks and Bible timelines give you one line, one empire, one date after another. You memorize, you forget, and you never see how it all fits together.

This chart works the other way. Every nation runs as its own stream across the same page, so you can stop at any moment in time and see what was happening in Israel, Egypt, Babylon, Greece, Rome and China — at once.

You don't read about an empire falling. You watch it happen.

See it unfold

6,000 years, in under 15 seconds.

One hardcover. 21 panels. Every great kingdom flowing side by side, from the first pages of history to the modern world.

The story

A 19th-century masterpiece, restored for your home.

In 1871, educator Sebastian C. Adams published a chart that did what no book could: it laid all of recorded history on a single, continuous panorama. Generations of families and classrooms learned from it.

We restored it as a sturdy fold-out hardcover — easy to open on a table, easy to put back on the shelf, and built to be handed down.

Questions, answered

How big is it?

It's a hardcover book that opens into 21 fold-out panels — one continuous chart of about 23 feet. Study a few panels at a time on the kitchen table, or unfold the whole story along a floor or a wall. Closed, it goes back on the shelf.

Is this the original 1871 chart?

It's a restored reproduction of the chart educator Sebastian C. Adams first published in 1871 and kept revising for years. We kept its layout, its streams and its illustrations — restored and printed as a sturdy fold-out hardcover.

What chronology does it follow?

Like the original, it begins at Creation — dated 4004 BC, following the traditional biblical chronology of Archbishop James Ussher — and runs through the 19th century. It reflects the scholarship of its time, which makes it a wonderful conversation starter too.

Is it appropriate for kids?

Yes. It was designed as a family and classroom learning tool and is illustrated throughout. Like any history covering thousands of years, it shows ancient kings, wars and religions as they were — nothing graphic.

What ages is it for?

Children from about 8 can follow along with a parent. Teens and adults use it on their own — it's as much a reference for grown-ups as a teaching tool.

How is it different from other Bible timelines?

Most timelines show one event at a time, page after page. This chart lays thousands of years across one continuous panorama, with every nation as its own stream — so you see what was happening in Israel, Egypt, Babylon, Greece and Rome at the same moment.

Is it good for homeschool and Sunday school?

It's built for exactly that: point to any date and show what was happening in Israel and in the empires around it. The free Family Study Guide gives you 8 ten-minute activities and a 12-week plan to get started.

Will we actually use it, or will it sit on a shelf?

It's made to be pulled out again and again — for Bible study, history lessons, or a Sunday afternoon with the kids. The study guide turns it into a weekly family habit.

How do I get the free Family Study Guide?

The download link is in your order confirmation email, right after checkout. It's a PDF you can print or read on a tablet.

How long does shipping take?

Shipping to the United States is free and tracked. Orders are prepared in 1–3 business days, then delivered in about 7–14 business days. Your tracking number is emailed as soon as it ships.

What if I don't love it?

You have 30 days after delivery. Contact us and we'll refund you in full once the chart is back with us (return shipping is on you). If it arrives damaged or wrong, we cover everything — just send us a photo.

Does it make a good gift?

It's made to be given — to grandkids, a pastor, a teacher or a history lover. That's why the 2-pack and 3-pack exist: keep one, give the others, and save on each.

Love it, or your money back.

Unfold it, use it with your family for 30 days. If it isn't everything you hoped, contact us for a full refund.
